Summary
All Bark, No Bite is a romantic comedy where opposites attract. Charlotte and Eugene share a quiet, orderly, and predictable life. Robert and Bella are fun-loving and full of life. Add to the mix Suzanne–the neighbor who is often oblivious to what is going on around her and has no problem expressing her opinion about it–and you have a recipe for a wonderful walk through one of the most important nights of everyone’s life.
Relationships can be exciting! Like life, they can be unpredictable and maddening, yet can be wonderfully risky and strangely fulfilling. If we are willing to put ourselves out there and take a leap of faith, relationships are almost always worth the risk, filling up those empty spaces in our hearts.
And if that doesn’t work? Well, you can always get a dog!
Characters
EUGENE – Male, Any age (preferably older, but not necessary); intelligent, superior, with a sarcastic, dry wit. Set in his ways.
CHARLOTTE – Female, 20 – 40; kind, hard-working architect with a gentle, patient nature and particular nervous tendencies. Set in her ways.
ROBERT – Male, 20 – 50; a tolerably good guy, he enjoys his life and has an enduringly upbeat attitude
BELLA – Female, Any age (preferably younger); happy, enthusiastic, loves attention and could charm the lolli off a pop.
SUZANNE – (leans female-presenting and/or transfemme), any age. Charlotte’s neighbor; nosy, a bit abrasive and in the midst of an emotional/physical/spiritual transition; sincerely cares for and protects Charlotte. A penchant for being extra. Not a dog lover.
